Case Study – Calvary Adelaide Hospital

    Calvary Adelaide Hospital

Calvary has an exciting project underway in Adelaide, with the construction of the new Calvary Adelaide Hospital. This hospital will co-locate the services currently provided at Calvary Wakefield and Calvary Rehabilitation hospitals into South Australia’s largest ever private hospital. The construction of the new $345 million facility is well underway and anticipated to open in the 3rd quarter 2019.

Icon Creations was contracted by Calvary Healthcare to undertake construction drawings, manufacture and installation of the external and internal branding and wayfinding signage for their new hospital in Adelaide.

Calvary Hospitals Iconic logos required careful consideration to present them in a three dimensional format creating a strong branding presence to this building. A suite of internal wayfinding signage was designed and will be installed with “simplicity and crisp display” as the benchmark.

Our structural engineers were engaged to ensure the construction methodology would have the integrity required to retro fit to structural members of the new building façade, especially those at high level. Fire engineering was undertaken to comply with the stringent new building codes and standards.

We engaged with the client throughout all processes to ensure the aesthetic result also meet compliance with building codes which will result in an outstanding visual outcome.

The client is delighted with the construction drawings and consultation undertaken so far.
